We were lucky to have the Ward family come stay with us for the weekend. Jake and Chloe were quite the buddies. . and Ellie and Zachary played well together. . maybe we need a dog to even the score. We took the train and the kids loved that. We tried IKEA, however, the play center was full.. not fun for the Dads! What a great weekend. We hope they come back soon. . .or maybe we will be taking a trip to Crawford.

Happy Fourth Birthday to Zachary. . .it is hard to believe this time next year we will be thinking about kindergarten. We had a party at the house for Zachary. Grannie and PaPa gave Zachary his first big boy bike. Mom and Dad gave Zachary a new remote control car ("a REAL one like Daddy's when he was little"). I am still not convinced it was not a gift for both Zachary and Daddy. . but Daddy says it's Zachary's car!?!?!

Again, while Zachary was on his trip. .lot's of special attention. There is no problem with taking a nap on the kitchen counter, right?

This summer while Zachary was on a trip with Grannie and PaPa in the "Big Bus", Chloe took swim lessons with our neighbor (Miss Bailey). She was quite the fishy!

This summer, Kim and I flew out to Minneapolis to celebrate Stephanie and Robert's wedding. What an event! It was nice to spend the weekend with the Blekre family and to reconnect with Ashley.

So, I thought I would give it another try and post some of our older photos. They are out of order. . .and start sometime in March and go through July. In that time we had some visitors to Texas (the Milonovich/Sickles Family, Ashley and Susan, Low-en) and we traveled back to New York for a week.

During our visit back to the northeast, we attended two friends' weddings. Laura and James were married in Massachusetts. .and what a beautiful celebration!
